A moment of geeky happiness

When you photograph food... home lighting can give off shadows and the flash washes everything out... so in order to avoid all that.... I built my own light box!!! For $27... Bonus

Needed:
(1) see through rectangular storage bin
(1) white sheet (or cloth)
(2-3) goose neck lamps (I used 2 for the picture below)
(1) matte poster board... color of your choice...
Lightbulbs - I used GE Reveal CF's 75 watt

Now all I need to do is play around with the manual settings for my digital point and shoot... which will do for now... at least I know how to 'evaluate white balance'... and that's half the battle!
